Hey Everyone,

I apologize that it has taken me so long to post something. I have been swamped with schoolwork and other projects but I have stumbled upon some great work by  evol/ctink. They spray paint cityscapes onto cardboard boxes. I thought that they were photos of cities at first and then noticed how intricate the work is. Check em out and visit the site www.evoltaste.com

These paintings are really interesting and I’m curious to see how they are created. Once again sorry for the delay on the post and Thanks for all of the support!

Peace,

JJ

I have been commissioned by someone to paint Nippert Stadium (18″ x 24″ Oil on Canvas), which is the football stadium at The University of Cincinnati.  It is also my alma mater.  I remember all of the games that I attended and the fun that was had.  Not to mention the tackle football in the snow.  Here are some progress images of the painting. I am still in the underpainting stage.  It is starting to take shape, more to come soon.

So I know I blogged about this back in January when everything was being set up for the show.  I was selected and had the opportunity to show some of my art on this season of Single Ladies.  I have attached some screen shots from the episode and I even attached the full episode here as well.  I still am in disbelief that it actually got air time.  I am humbled and blessed to have an opportunity like this and I am glad that the painting has been so well received.  More to come very soon.  I promise. OK, This guy is AMAZING!  Tom Lane, English Designer, Illustrator and Typenut is super inspiring.  He designs everything by hand which keeps us honest.  Check out his work HERE  I have posted images of the New Air Jordan Year of the Dragon Special Edition Shoes that he helped design, as well as the packaging.  #DOPE

School has started so I have been away swamped with work but I thought I’d share these with you all. So I’m sure that everyone remembers their family photos growing up.  Every year, photos were taken to commemorate growth.  The Marvellini Brothers from Milan Italy use Marvel Comic characters and fuse them into the family photos.  Each piece stands as its own unique form, united around a solid concept. According to The Marvellini Bros. ‘The original idea was to transform some old vintage photos into historical ancestors of the Marvel Superheroes.  These family photos are different but pretty cool.  Check em out.
